A
successful money manager and professional investor, respected financial
and corporate advisor and a dynamic public speaker, George has founded,
invested in and helped to build companies engaged in a broad range of
industry sectors, including financial consulting, media, real estate
investing, real estate anagement, employee leasing, light steel
manufacturing, livestock management, high technology, natural resources,
healthcare and biotechnology.
Among other priorities, George is
currently focused on expanding the National Eagles and Angels Association (NEAA), a nationwide alliance of individual investors and
business angels currently comprising 20 active NEAA chapters in key
metropolitan markets across the country. The NEAA membership shares certain common core values. Chief among these values are a belief in
liberty and happiness for all who dwell in the Free Enterprise system.
They attest that making money honestly, paying one’s rightful taxes, working hard and playing by the rules distinguishes us as a moral force
for the good. This good nurtures job creation and economic growth of our

George is also privileged to
host the program, “New Captains of Industry,” a show dedicated to frank
and insightful discussion on the world of macroeconomics, key industry
trends, politics and the stock market. In addition, he is a frequent
market commentator on FOX Business News programming and has been
featured on CEO Central, iStockAnalyst and HardAssetsInvestor.com. He
has also been quoted in the national press, including USA Today among
other leading publications.
George started his career in the
financial services industry with Josephthal Lyon and Ross, a New York
Stock Exchange member. Over the past two decades, he has consulted
numerous venture capital groups as well as investment banking
departments at small to medium sized broker dealers on investment
strategies, risk management and implementation. Individually and
through one of his companies, he was a successful strategic investor in
two public biotechnology companies (ANX and OPXA). George was a
co-founder of PharmaFrontiers Corporation (now Opexa Therapeutics:
OPXA), and has had investments in VoIP, Internet Security and Gaming. He
also served as the Chief Operating Officer and President of SH Celera
Capital Corporation, an internally managed fund. In the 1990’s, George
expanded his investments to China as well as other international
markets – well before mainstream investing in emerging markets became in
vogue. George was an early seed investor for Oilsands Quest (NYSE: BQI), a development stage company engaged in the acquisition, exploration and development of natural resource properties in Canada; and a significant investor-turned-board member of Radiant Oil and Gas, Inc (ROGI)
